A beautiful modern reception area awaits with all the grandeur you would have expected from the original townhouse homes. Stroll through our front door, this was once the front door for architect John Wood and his family, the visionary for the Georgian stone buildings throughout Bath. Our transformation will celebrate his vision and ambition for the city of Bath. Welcome to the new Francis Hotel.

As you stroll along Queen Square, our doormen Alex and Jerry will greet you with a beaming smile. Through our revolving door and enter into a townhouse experience like no other. Just stand for a moment and take it all in. Be transported to a world of elegance. A drink to settle you in or straight to the check-in desk, eagerly anticipating the first glimpse of your bedroom.
Your experience starts here and the welcome team will be on hand to guide you and ensure you have a memorable stay from the moment you arrive. Our ground floor reception and lounge will be totally reconfigured to create plenty of comfortable spaces for gathering, grabbing some “you” time and conjuring up wicked plans to have exciting adventures in Bath.
