Do you have accessible rooms?

Yes we do, click here to view our rooms page for further details. There are two exquisitely furnished, fully-accessible classic rooms available at The Francis Hotel Bath.

Do you have rooms with twin beds?

We have ten Twin Rooms here at The Francis Hotel Bath, which are perfect if you’re travelling with friends or family.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is at 3pm and check-out is at 11am. Need more time? Email us on to discuss an early check-in or a late check-out.

Are we able to book as a large group?

When booking more than 7 rooms, different policies and additional supplements may apply. Get in touch with us on if you would like to discuss extras such as interconnecting rooms or private dinner reservations. We will work hard to make your stay a memorable one.

Do you have robes and slippers in the rooms?

We are on a big journey to play our part in saving the planet and becoming more sustainable.  So, we have removed bathrobes and slippers from all bedrooms apart from Feature bedrooms and Junior Suites as not all guests wish to use them.  But, if you want to snuggle up in a bathrobe and slippers, then tell us and we will bring them straight up to you.

Do you have hairdryers?

Yes, you will find a hairdryer in every room.

Do you have fridges in the rooms?

Fridges are available in all rooms, offering complimentary still and sparkling water. 

In our Feature Rooms, our mini fridges come stocked with complimentary soft drinks. You will also find fresh milk in all the rooms, to enjoy with your morning cup of tea or coffee.

Do you have tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms?

There is a kettle in every room, as well as cafetieres or Nespresso machines depending on your chosen room type. A range of teas are also provided in your room.

Do you have irons?

Yes, these will usually be found in the wardrobe, along with an ironing board.

Do you have laundry facilities?

Yes we do, and you will find a laundry bag, prices and more information in your room.

Do you have dog-friendly rooms?

Yes. We can welcome up to two well-trained pups in our special dog-friendly rooms, for a cost of £30 per night. For more information, visit our Stay page.

Are we able to store our luggage with you?

Of course, if you arrive early or want somewhere to store your cases once you have checked out, you can speak to our reception team who will kindly assist.


Yes, it does. If you should find a price online that is cheaper than what you find direct, then simply email us on with details and screen shots of the dates you have searched, the package you saw and the price you found cheaper and we will honour the price you have found elsewhere.

Do you provide room service?

What are the times for breakfast?

Breakfast is served in our Boho Marché restaurant between 7am-10:30am on weekdays and between 7am-11am on weekends.


Is there a lift?

There is a lift conveniently located next to reception.

Is there on-site parking?

No, the nearest car park is the Charlotte Street car park (BA1 2NE), which is a short walk from the hotel. If you would like to drop your bags off at reception before parking your car, we would be happy to keep an eye on them for you.
