Ageless British brasserie Indulge in classic dishes

The upper echelons of the Georgian era would eat really well. They enjoyed beautifully cooked meats and fresh fish such as salmon and lobster and it is thought that the sweet pudding was invented during this period. The Townhouse Brasserie will be a welcome new addition to the already exceptional and vibrant food and drink scene in Bath, having gained the reputation as a delectable destination for a foodie break and lending itself to a modern interpretation of the classically chic but vibrant and ageless British brasseries of old. In homage to the heritage of The Francis Hotel and even it’s conception by John Wood The Elder, the reimagination of the restaurant and bar will be a marvellous reincarnation that pays a fond nod to its English heritage whilst playfully and effortlessly bringing the aesthetic, its experience and the menu to new levels of timeless creativity and vibrancy.
