Do you have accessible rooms?

Yes we do, click here to view our rooms page for further details. There are two exquisitely furnished, fully-accessible classic rooms available at The Francis Hotel Bath.

Please note that during our refurbishment our three accessible rooms will be unavailable between January to October 2025.

Do you have rooms with twin beds?

We have ten Twin Rooms here at The Francis Hotel Bath, which are perfect if you’re travelling with friends or family.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is at 3pm and check-out is at 11am. Need more time? Email us on reservations@suttonhotelcollection.com to discuss an early check-in or a late check-out.

Are we able to book as a large group?

When booking more than 7 rooms, different policies and additional supplements may apply. Get in touch with us on groupreservations@suttonhotelcollection.com if you would like to discuss extras such as interconnecting rooms or private dinner reservations. We will work hard to make your stay a memorable one.

Do you have robes and slippers in the rooms?

We are on a journey to play our part in saving the planet and becoming more sustainable.  So, we have removed bathrobes and slippers from all bedrooms apart from our John Wood suite, as not all guests wish to use them.  But, if you want to snuggle up in a bathrobe and slippers, then tell us and we will bring them straight up to you.

Do you have hairdryers?

Yes, you will find a GHD hairdryer in every room.

Do you have fridges in the rooms?

Fridges are available in all rooms and they come stocked with complimentary mineral water and soft drinks. You will also find milk in all the rooms, to enjoy with your morning cup of tea or coffee.

Do you have tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms?

There is a kettle in every room, as well as cafeteria’s and Nespresso machines. A range of teas are also provided in your room.

Do you have irons?

Yes, these will usually be found in the wardrobe, along with an ironing board.

Do you have laundry facilities?

Yes, we do, laundry bags and price lists are available from reception.

Do you have dog-friendly rooms?

Yes. We can welcome up to two well-trained pups in our special dog-friendly rooms, for a cost of £30 per night. For more information, visit our Stay page.

Are we able to store our luggage with you?

Of course, if you arrive early or want somewhere to store your cases once you have checked out, you can speak to our reception team who will kindly assist.

Does your website OFFER THE BEST RATES?

Yes, it does. If you should find a price online that is cheaper than what you find direct, then simply email us on reservations@suttonhotelcollection.com with details and screen shots of the dates you have searched, the package you saw and the price you found cheaper and we will honour the price you have found elsewhere.

What are the times for breakfast?

Breakfast is served daily in Emberwood restaurant from 7:00am-10:30am.

Is there a lift?

There is a lift conveniently located next to reception.

Please note that during our refurbishment, our lift will be unavailable between June to October 2025.

Is there on-site parking?

No, the nearest car park is the Charlotte Street car park (BA1 2NE), which is a short walk from the hotel. If you would like to drop your bags off at reception before parking your car, we would be happy to keep an eye on them for you.

Why are you adding a service charge?

Our role is to help you make the most of your precious time with us. If you need an extra pillow, we’ll be straight up with one. Want us to take your luggage to your room? No questions, we’ll just do it. Have a special occasion? The whole team will try to celebrate with you.  Many guests want to recognise our team for creating your special memories and now we’ve made it easier for you to thank our team by adding a small 5% service charge to your bill.

What does the 5% cover?

The 5% is just applied to the cost of your room. If you are on a package including breakfast or dinner or package extras, they are all excluded from the charge, it’s just on your bedroom.

Who receives the 5%?

The service charge you pay goes straight to our team.  Every single penny.  It’s divided equally between them all, from receptionist to room attendant and those back of house heroes too.

I don’t want to pay the 5% charge, how do I remove it?

If you don’t want to pay, we’ll remove the charge straight away. No quibble, no questions, it will be removed from your bill.
